Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Handle daily finance operations and related tasks.
  • Manage and lead a team, providing guidance.
  • Prepare the full set of monthly financial statements, including reconciliations and tax computations, and generate analysis reports to support management decision‑making.
  • Maintain the accounting, fixed asset and inventory systems.
  • Prepare the annual budget and forecasts for profit and cash flow, and assist in tracking and monitoring financial performance and results.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and internal controls.
  • Ensure the company adheres to local tax regulations, including withholding tax and service tax.
  • Establish, monitor, and maintain accounting controls and procedures.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Process end‑to‑end payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payroll for all employees, including compliance with payroll regulations.
  • Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by management, as required.
Skill Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the MPERS.
  • Hands‑on experience with accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • Additional professional certification will be an added advantage.
  • Problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An immediate starter would be advantageous.
