Ansell is looking for a Manager, Engineering to join our team in Seremban!

In this position you will be responsible to oversee all on-site engineering operations, ensuring equipment and facilities are maintained safely and efficiently. Lead and develop the engineering team, manage budgets, and deliver projects on time while driving continuous improvement in quality and performance.

What your role will be?
  • To lead a team of Engineers/ Technicians to support all Engineering works.
  • Support planning and projects implementation.
  • Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
  • Work closely with supplier on machine designs and services.
  • Prepare SOP and preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment and machineries.
  • Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department, service, laboratory or firm.
  • Continuous improvement and development programs must be implemented on plant equipment and machinery.
  • Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
  • To be an active member of the Safety Committee and actively maintain and develop safety standards in the Engineering Department
What will you bring to Ansell?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Manufacturing Technology or equivalent
  • 5 years hands on experience in a similar capacity in the manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of plant equipment maintenance, installation, and repair
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and SOP development
  • Understanding of safety standards and compliance requirements
  • Ability to create and interpret mechanical drawings
  • Knowledge in SCADA/PLC/DCS system is preferable
