The Manager, Data Analytics and Engineering is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of data analytics solutions and data engineering frameworks to support business decision-making. This role ensures data integrity, scalability, and accessibility across the organization in a unified data platform while driving innovation in analytics and data management.

Job Description

1. Leadership & Strategy

Develop and execute the data analytics and engineering strategy aligned with business objectives.

Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, analysts and AI engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven insights and automation.

2. Data Engineering & Architecture

Design and maintain robust data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses.

Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and scalability.

3. Analytics & Insights

Oversee the development of dashboards, reports, and predictive models to support business decisions.

Implement advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning and AI, where applicable.

Translate complex data into actionable insights for business units.

4. Governance & Standards

Establish data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.

Monitor and enforce data standards across systems and processes.

5. Technology & Innovation

Evaluate and implement modern data tools, platforms, and technologies.

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and engineering.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 8 years of experience in data analytics and engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (i.e., Power BI).

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (Snowflake, Hadoop).

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
