The role is within the Risk Compliance Security Unit and reports to the Group Director – Head of Group Risk Assurance & Data Analytics COE. As a Data Analyst, you will manage, analyze, and report data to support decision‐making processes, interpret results, and provide ongoing reports that directly support business strategies and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Develop automated data‑cleaning scripts and workflows to streamline data preparation.
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable visualizations for stakeholders across the business.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover risk trends and patterns.
• Support internal audits and assurance reviews with data‑driven evidence and reporting.
• Work closely with Risk, Compliance, and IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements

• Strong problem‑solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
• Experience using statistical programming languages (Python, SQL, etc.) to draw insights from large data sets.
• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision‑tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real‑world advantages/drawbacks.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, distribution properties, statistical tests, and correct usage) and experience applying them.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with teams.
• Experience with distributed data/computing environments.
