We are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join our growing team. This full-time role is essential in ensuring the company meets all regulatory requirements and adheres to internal policies. You will help strengthen and evolve our compliance framework, providing guidance, oversight, and support across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Developed and implemented the compliance monitoring program and annual compliance plan to enhance internal controls and effectively manage compliance risks.
- Acted as the designated Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) Officer for MAVP, established AML and Terrorist Financing (TF) policies, and conducted AML reviews to ensure compliance with the Securities Commission’s (SC) AMLATFPUAA requirements.
- Conducted comprehensive client AML screening and due diligence prior to onboarding to ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Contributed to the development of the Company’s internal controls framework across business units and operational processes to uphold regulatory compliance standards.
- Designed and facilitated compliance training programs for staff, focusing on regulatory obligations and compliance‑related matters to promote organizational awareness and accountability.
- Provided regulatory guidance to senior management, addressed compliance inquiries across departments, and served as the primary liaison with the SC and other relevant regulatory authorities.
- Conducted compliance reviews and presented key findings to the Board of Directors and senior management to support informed decision‑making and governance oversight.
- Monitored investment limits and restrictions, ensuring that fund managers adhered to both client portfolio and fund investment policies and restrictions.
- Assisting in reviewing and preparing reports and announcements for submission to Bursa Malaysia, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Identified, assessed, and mitigated compliance risks across the organization to support operational resilience and regulatory adherence.
- Supported the preparation of supplemental prospectuses and information memoranda, liaising with relevant third parties to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Provided compliance‑related support to various business units, focusing on periodic regulatory and client reporting obligations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in any relevant educational certificate with 10‑15 years of solid experience in compliance within the capital market industry.
