We are now inviting qualified individuals to join this team in the role of Manager, Business Management and Controls, Global Payments Solutions (GPS)

Principal Responsibilities

The jobholder is responsible for supporting Head of GPS MYH in

  • GPS P&L analysis including:
    • Financial Planning/Forecasting and FTE management
    • Revenue realisation from initiatives, conduct ongoing analysis to address stakeholder inquiries, and ensure comprehensive end-to-end revenue visibility through coordinated actions
    • Itemised cost analysis across both direct and indirect charges and identification of save opportunities.
  • Lead analytics to drive origination, manage attrition, identify efficiencies, manage corridor flows, enable improved client planning
  • Support the GPS Head on activities related to strategy execution, Bank programs, information gathering, ongoing updates etc.
  • Ownership of updating of risk related data and progress status and other data quality platforms
  • Governance – facilitate risk management discussions at key committees through effective reporting and communication of risk and control trends, issues, emerging risks, and initiatives and own Non-Financial Risks (NFR) specific governance activities.
  • Work with GPS functional teams and region to proactively raise risk and controls issues through Management Self-Identified Issues and track through to closure.
  • Track incidents to closure and proactively working with GPS functional partners to identify and remediate root causes.
  • Coordinate information gathering to support asks from stakeholders across the bank (e.g. finance, audit, operations, coverage etc.) and external organisations (e.g. regulators etc.)
  • Support GPS Head on suitably preparing presentations and other business content feeding into leadership and other meetings.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
  • University Graduate experience in a Banking/Financial Services, (Cash Management, Transaction Banking, or business management/risk & control roles)
  • Understanding of international payment flows and cross-border clearing
  • Strong experience in operational risk, compliance or internal control
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prepare governance decks, MI, and control documentation
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable working in a global matrix environment
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Ability to demonstrate high levels of resilience, delivering under pressure to tight deadlines in a change oriented, fast paced environment.
