Purpose of Role:

  • Identify newbusiness opportunities through developing new and existing customers’ accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, developand secure new business that is profitable to meet the department’s salestargets and key performance indicators
  • Develop andimplement strategic business development plans to meet corporate goals
  • Manage and handlenew RFQ requests and ensuring that the RFQs’ are responded and followed throughin a timely manner
  • Develop andmaintain close business relationships and rapport with customers and potentialcustomers
  • Maintain closeworking relationships will divisions and departments within the group
  • To negotiate forcontracts and co-ordinate all related activities to ensure the completion ofthese projects
  • Undertake crossselling within existing customer base to further develop account potentialthrough airfreight, sea freight, road freight, value added products andcontract logistics.
  • Responsible foreffective management and planning of a project through working together withvarious departments in resource allocation and scheduling, project accountingand control, safety and compliance control and quality standard
  • Undertake salespresentations to customers and business communities to present to the companyand its products and services.
  • Any other dutiesand responsibilities assigned by the Management
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree inany discipline; with minimum 5 years’ in in logistics, supply chain managementor FMGC environment
  • Excellent trackrecords in securing and developing key customers accounts
  • Strong hunterwith the relevant established network and clientele
  • High level ofcustomer service ability
  • Excellentplanning, problem-solving, collaboration, decision making, and organizationskills.
  • Able to championnew initiatives, change management and building teams
  • Excellentinterpersonal skills including communication, presentation, diplomacy andpatience.
