Job Responsibility
- Banknotes Processing Operation: Manage and lead the banknotes processing operation at ACC and provide strategic directions to ensure the smooth functioning in preserving the availability, quality, and integrity of circulating banknotes in central region.
- Team Management: To supervise and monitor banknotes processing operations team and defaced banknotes in ensuring minimal disruption to banknotes processing through efficient and effective manpower planning and optimum performance of all automation systems and banknotes processing machines.
- Operating Plan: Lead the Operating Plan submission and oversee the procurement of operational items to ensure the banknotes processing activities are not interrupted due to shortage of consumable items.
- Stakeholder Management: Supervise and lead the engagement with internal/external stakeholders to ensure the interests of the department are protected at all times while building and maintaining a good relationship with the stakeholders.
- Exchange of Defaced Banknotes: Manage and oversee the handling of defaced banknotes operation to ensure compliance with the established policies and procedures and reduce backlog of idle banknotes in circulation.
Other Tasks
- Review of SOP: To lead and supervise the review of SOP related to banknotes processing operation to ensure all controls and governance are reflecting the current practices.
- Business Development: Continuously keep abreast of the latest developments and trends in banknotes management and recommend the appropriate solutions to address the business needs in managing banknotes processing operation in the Bank.
- Project Management: Actively participate in projects initiated by JMW or other departments to gain broader perspective and contribute to cross-functional initiatives as well to identify and contribute ideas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Perform any tasks assigned by Supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Academic Qualifications: Master/Degree or Professional qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Banking, Finance or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of working experience in banknotes operations or related field. Exposure and knowledge in IT are added advantage.
