Job summary

Kaya by Chemin Sdn Bhd is looking for native Malay speakers based in Malaysia to join an upcoming Malay Audio Collection Project for AI data collection. Record short Malay audio clips on your smartphone, about 10 seconds each. Choose Malay-only or Malay+English code-switching tasks.

Project runs 18 September–30 November 2026. Up to 500 tasks and a total time of about 3 hours. Payment is USD 8 upon completion and client acceptance. Contributor deadline is 16 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Based in Malaysia
• Native Malay speaker
• Have a smartphone capable of recording clear and audible audio
• Able to complete all assigned tasks within 48 hours
• Able to follow the project guidelines and recording instructions

Responsibilities

• Record brief Malay audio clips on a smartphone (roughly 10 seconds per clip)
• Choose and complete one of the two task options: Malay-only or Malay+English code-switching
• Follow project guidelines and meet deadlines for task submissions
