Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician (PW4) in Kuala Lumpur to maintain small to medium buildings and industrial systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, oversee repairs, and assist with equipment installations as part of the Engineering and Technical Services team.

You will inspect systems for code compliance, support energy management, and follow established procedures under supervision. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED/trade school with 1-2 years of related experience.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, lifting 50 lbs. or more).
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Effective communication to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

What You’ll Do

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
