Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or Industrial Electrical.
• Strong hands-on capability in mechanical, electrical, PLC, and automation troubleshooting.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings and machine manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines and jigs.
• Identify causes of breakdowns and support root-cause analysis to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with Production teams to minimize downtime.
• Support TPM initiatives and equipment reliability projects.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic/hydraulic, and automation issues.
• Support PLC-controlled machines and automation systems, including HMI, sensors, actuators, servo drives and inverters.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and machine manuals.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians.
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO and maintain 5S at the workplace.
• Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned by Supervisor/Engineer.
