Job description

Work towards zero machine breakdowns by effectively carrying out Preventive Maintenance Program (TPM) in collaboration with Production department and ensuring production equipment are maintained in good running condition. A high level of teamwork is required as this person will work closely with the Maintenance team, Production and Quality departments and external maintenance contractors to ensure that quality of service and products are not compromised.

Education/Academic background

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or any equivalent vocational or technical institutions

Appropriate electrical training and certified qualification is an added advantage

Experience

Minimum 3 years of working experience in related field

Hands‑on experience in maintenance and troubleshooting role in a high‑speed high‑volume manufacturing environment

Working in a well‑organized preventive maintenance environment

Knowledge & Skill

Knowledge in troubleshooting and repair problem with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and related components will be an added advantage

Have knowledge and experience in planning and carrying out equipment maintenance, and ad‑hoc trouble shooting in which must adhere to all safety rules during maintenance

Have basic knowledge and experience in planning and controlling spare parts inventory

Involvement in problem solving and quality improvement activities

A highly motivated individual who is willing to take initiatives and has a high concern for safety

Works well in a team environment and able to work under challenging situations

Able to work with minimal supervision and at times independently

Wiling to work on rotating shifts
