JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician shall work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Executive to execute maintenance works which includes troubleshooting, repairing, servicing and planned preventive maintenance of plant machinery, utilities and building facilities.

Willing to work shifts and overtime (Rest Day & Public Holiday).

Staggered rest day (Saturday or Sunday)

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• To carry out maintenance work according to PAC Safe Work Practice by using the right PPE and equipment to perform the maintenance job.
• To carry out Preventive Maintenance (PM) for all machines and equipment as specified in the PM program/ schedule, and must ensure PM Checklist is filled and filed accordingly.
• To be able to diagnose and repair faulty equipment (breakdowns) on a timely manner to minimize technical downtime to meet the Maintenance target.
• To perform routine machines/ equipment check daily as assigned.
• To respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform repairs as needed for building and facility utilities.
• To maintain accurate of maintenance logs and reports in compliance with all safety and quality standards.
• To perform duties safely and comply to SHE and PAC established safety standard.
• To apply basic 5S standard in the workplace including keeping and organizing spare parts and working tools.
• To perform any other function, duties and job functions as instructed from time to time by immediate superior or the senior management.

Job Requirements

• Engineering Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant working experience as a Maintenance Technicians in the manufacturing environment.
• Experience in handling DOSH compliant and statutory
• Communication and influencing skills, in person and in writing
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Teamworking, willing to share knowledge and develop junior team members
• Attention to detail but also the ability to see the implications for the bigger picture
