We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with expertise in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC systems to work onsite in Cheras, including occasional after‑hour support.
Qualifications
- Possess a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions effectively.
- Have a solid understanding of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and control panels.
- Be proficient in performing preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
- Exhibit hands‑on experience in equipment repair, including mechanical and electrical components.
- Capable of performing basic plumbing tasks, such as fixing leaks and unclogging drains.
- Possess knowledge of building maintenance practices, including carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
- Understand the fundamentals of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Familiarity with HVAC system maintenance and repair procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbally and in writing.
- Willingness to work onsite in Cheras and be available for occasional after‑hours support.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, HVAC systems, plumbing, and other building equipment to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, including wiring, lighting and power distribution systems, ensuring minimal downtime and safe operation.
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including filter replacements, coil cleaning and system adjustments, to maintain optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs and fixture repairs, ensuring a safe and functional environment for occupants.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and inspections, using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) or other tracking tools.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to building operations.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of building systems, including fire alarms, security systems and other essential equipment.
