A leading chemical manufacturer based in Lahat, Ipoh is seeking a Maintenance Planner. Maintenance Planner (Based in Lahat, Ipoh)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance work orders using CMMS, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
• Update and close work orders with accurate details such as issues, root causes, solutions, duration, and parts used.
• Register new equipment in CMMS and assist in developing preventive maintenance (PM) programs.
• Prepare CMMS and maintenance reports as required by management.
• Support and coordinate preventive maintenance activities by in-house teams or contractors.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring major shutdown activities.
• Maintain and update documentation to comply with SIRIM audit requirements and company procedures.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably 2-3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in equipment maintenance (rotating and static).
• Knowledge of AutoCad and CMMS is an added advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
