Job summary

CBRE Malaysia seeks a Maintenance & Operations Manager for Pasir Gudang, Johor. You will lead a team responsible for mechanical and electrical operations, ensuring safety, reliability, and cost control.

The role requires 3–5 years in related field, degree preferred, and the ability to supervise staff, manage contractors, and drive continuous improvement. Salary offered is RM2,000–RM3,000 base plus allowances; contract with permanent status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, 3–5 years relevant experience.
• Engineering professional body membership (CIBSE/IEE) preferred.
• Experience in staffing, training, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, conduct evaluations, and handle recruitment.
• Coordinate daily team activities, schedule tasks, and set deadlines.
• Assist operations and maintenance issues; manage contractors and engineers.
• Oversee facility controls and asset management systems.
• Support budgets and cost control for the location.
• Schedule maintenance aligned with customer requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and KPI analysis.
• Collaborate with clients on reconfiguration and operational needs.
• Lead by example and uphold CBRE RISE values.
