Job summary

A manufacturing company in Nilai is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to carry out scheduled maintenance and improve equipment efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing maintenance, with strong skills in preventative maintenance and problem-solving.

  • Ordering specialist components, fixtures or fittings.
  • Creating maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain and improve equipment and facilities to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and prolong the life of equipment.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs and ensure equipment is operating at peak performance.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance procedures and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety and environmental regulations.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze maintenance performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports on maintenance performance to senior management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives to improve equipment performance and minimize downtime.
