About the Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturing organization, is looking for a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join their technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, reliability, and efficiency of production equipment and plant utilities through preventive and corrective maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and automation-related issues to identify root causes and implement long‑term solutions.
  • Plan and execute maintenance schedules in coordination with production and engineering teams.
  • Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery or equipment upgrades.
  • Collaborate with the safety, quality, and production departments to ensure equipment complies with operational standards.
  • Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities, reports, and spare part inventories.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Support plant shutdowns, inspections, and calibration programs as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
General Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Chemical or related Engineering discipline.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a manufacturing, chemical, industrial, or production environment.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Familiarity with automation systems, PLCs, and control panels is a plus.
  • Able to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
