Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of machinery and equipment across our facility. You will play a critical role in minimizing downtime, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Plan, allocate, and manage manpower effectively for maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal team performance.
  • Configure and optimize machinery and system setups to meet production requirements. Provide recommendations to production teams on equipment utilization to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to resolve issues with utility systems and equipment when internal troubleshooting is insufficient.
  • Ensure the maintenance management system operates effectively and assist the Maintenance Manager in implementing and maintaining procedures, policies, and controls related to the maintenance system.
  • Work closely with production and manufacturing teams to address and resolve specifications, quality complaints, and operational issues, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Investigate mechanical issues and develop solutions, implementing corrective actions for continuous improvement and minimizing downtime.
  • Collaborate with the production team to support regular maintenance and emergency repairs of production equipment.
  • Able to conduct minor projects and oversee the execution of equipment improvement programs aimed at enhancing machinery performance.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance supervisors and technicians in carrying out the repair and maintenance of equipment and systems.
  • Prepare and present detailed monthly maintenance performance reports to management, highlighting key metrics such as downtime, repairs, and cost-saving initiatives.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering operations, particularly in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of industrial equipment.
  • Expertise in analyzing mechanical failures and implementing corrective actions to minimize production downtime.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with production teams, management, and external vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented and analytical approach to resolving complex mechanical issues.
