Job Purpose
  • Ensure that all machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure operate efficiently, reliably, and safely to support uninterrupted business operations.
  • Responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and longevity of machinery, equipment, and building systems. This role involves both preventive and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Helps to reduce reactive maintenance and contribute to a more sustainable and cost-effective maintenance environment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Diagnose equipment faults and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain and update maintenance records, work orders, and service reports.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to support smooth and efficient operations.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action plans for recurring equipment issues.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, health & safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers for equipment or part replacements.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment or upgrades.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining maintenance schedules and documentation (SOPs, checklists, etc.).
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related).
  • 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in manufacturing / industrial / facilities / relevant sector.
  • Experienced working as maintenance engineer in manufacturing.
  • Deep understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, motors, pumps, and PLCs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of health and safety standards, risk assessment and management.
