Job description

The Machinist is responsible for executing the machining operation as per routing, machined the part as per engineering drawing, and perform dimension inspection.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawing and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
• Execute the machining operation as per routing.
• Machine the part as per engineering drawing.
• Operate CNC machine.
• Monitor machining parameters and provide feedback to programmer if necessary.
• Perform dimensional inspection.
• Set up fixture, tool, and part.
• Maintain good housekeeping at the workplace.
• Report all daily activities via MII Systems.
• Wear required PPE while working.
• Provide assistance to superior whenever required.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years hands‑on experience operating CNC milling/turning machines.
• Able to perform set‑up operations on CNC machines.
• Able to interpret CNC programs.
• Communicate and understand English language.
• Able to work shifts.
• Experience with Siemens, Fanuc, and Mazatrol CNC controllers.
• Forklift driving experience.
