Job summary

A leading construction company in Malaysia is seeking a MEP Supervisor to oversee the execution of MEP trades as directed by the M&E Manager. The ideal candidate must have a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience in building construction projects. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, monitoring site activities, and preparing progress reports. Experience in Data Center construction is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant MEP experience in building construction projects.
• Experience in Data Center construction is a plus.
• Familiar with local regulations and codes of practice.

Job description

Supervise the execution of assigned MEP trades as directed by the M&E Manager, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards and project schedules by subcontractors.

Assist in reviewing shop drawings and method statements to understand scope and ensure correct site implementation.

Monitor site activities to ensure progress is on track and work is carried out safely and correctly.

Inspect workmanship and ensure all MEP installations comply with regulatory safety and quality standards.

Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and vendors to resolve site issues and coordinate technical details.

Prepare and submit daily or weekly progress reports, attend coordination meetings and track milestones.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant MEP experience for building construction projects
• Data Center construction experience is a Plus.
• Technical knowledge in ACMV, BMS, fire protection, plumbing, HV or ELV systems.
• Familiar with local regulations, codes of practice and technical standard.
