Job summary

A leading construction firm in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a qualified individual for a role focused on supervising mechanical and electrical works on high-rise projects. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of experience working with M&E subcontractors or main contractors. Responsibilities include monitoring site progress, coordinating site activities, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of work progress activities at site by schedule and drawing.
• Monitor site progress, implement daily activities report & prepare site report regularly.
• Assist M&E Manager in supervising and coordinating all MEP services and complete within program.
• Work closely and communicate with vendors or partners, main contractors, subcontractors, and others at the site to avoid site complication.
• Execute mechanical and electrical works in building construction.
• Manage M&E subcontractors’ submission of method statements, drawings, materials, samples, and work progress.
• Ensure compliance with company or government regulations to avoid job disruption at the site.
• Attend site meetings, liaise with consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors concerning project technical and coordination issues.
• Monitor the M&E installation done by subcontractor complies to the approved requirements and specification.
• Perform other ad-hoc task as assigned by superior.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to organize and coordinate site activities.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience with M&E Sub-Contractor / Main Contractor for High-Rise Project.
• Possesses own transportation and is willing to travel within a short period and can outstation.
