Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Penang is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead M&E projects. The role requires at least 5 years of project management experience and a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Key responsibilities include overseeing project execution, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing procurement. Strong leadership, project planning skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD are essential. Candidates must be fluent in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia and willing to travel as needed. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the M&E or construction industry.
• Strong background in semiconductor / industrial facilities projects is highly preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects involving M&E works including utilities piping installation and HVAC systems.
• Plan and execute process utilities and electrical facilitation.
• Monitor and drive project progress to meet milestones while ensuring quality and compliance.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients and internal teams.
• Review and approve project documentation including method statements and progress reports.
• Manage procurement of materials and equipment aligning with project budgets.
• Prepare and review tender submissions and quotations for upcoming M&E projects.
