Job summary

Asiamost Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of AME Elite Consortium Berhad, is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate and supervise M&E installation works on-site for commercial and industrial buildings in Malaysia.

The role involves troubleshooting site issues, planning procurement, maintaining documentation, and liaising with clients and authorities. Travel to project sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience, preferably with site exposure.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) installation works on-site.
• Troubleshoot site issues and propose practical solutions to ensure smooth operations.
• Plan, monitor & control procurement, materials deliver and overall work progress.
• Prepare and submit Progress Reports, relevant sketches, drawingsand other documentation.
• Verify quantities for M&E installation services in accordance with Tender, Shop, and As-Built drawings.
• Implement work schedules while enforcing site cleanliness, housekeeping, and safety standards.
• Ensure adequate, efficient, and high-quality workforce allocation.
• Monitor work progress to meet project schedules and client requirements.
• Review and verify M&E designs, subcontractors’ claims, and variation orders.
• Liaise with client, consultants, local authorities & other relevant parties.
• Maintain and update M&E drawings and related construction documentation.
• Coordinate and supervise both own and subcontractors’ workforce.
• Assist management with additional tasks as required, including drawings, procurement, and reporting
• Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
