Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM qualification or a hotel school graduate preferably.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of laundry management experience.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically, handle guest issues, and manage operational challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Manage efficient washing, drying, pressing, and folding of linens.
  • Supervise and train laundry staff for quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect linens for stains and damage to ensure quality standards.
  • Track inventory and requisition new supplies as needed.
  • Ensure laundry equipment maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Manage departmental budget and control operational costs.
  • Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet their needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of laundry operations.
