Responsibilities

• Contribute at the highest level as part of the Lube Department (Back End Process) team.
• Provide hands-on support for sample handling, troubleshooting, tool upgrades, installation, data logging, and assisting engineers during experimental runs or tool modifications.
• Perform daily tool checks and recipe verification, ensuring tool readiness to meet NPI planning.
• Monitor real-time changes and take immediate action on deviations to minimize scrap and rework.
• Assist with process tuning in an R&D environment and support engineering evaluations.
• Collaborate with engineers on process improvement initiatives and new process trials.
• Comply with safety, chemical handling, and cleanroom protocols.

Qualifications

Diploma or Technical Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent)

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly report issues and support engineering meetings.
• Strong team player with adaptability, ownership and readiness to contribute constructively within dynamic environments.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy in tool setups, measurements and documentation.

• Passion for continuous improvement and learning with a drive to learn, suggest enhancements and support ongoing process reliability.

Preferred Experience

• Familiar with tool qualification and preventive maintenance
• Experienced in performing SOP‑compliant documentation
• Familiar with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and reporting
• Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and implement

• Sharp critical thinking for evaluating processes and making informed technical decisions.
• Attention to detail for ensuring accuracy and quality in tool use and recorded data.
• Time‑management skills to meet project deadlines and routine qualification schedules.
