Job summary

An emerging Asian oil company is seeking a professional skilled in customer analytics to enhance engagement and retention strategies. Responsibilities include analyzing customer behavior, preparing loyalty performance reports, and identifying trends for programme improvement. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant degree and have over 5 years of experience in analytics, alongside strong SQL and Excel skills. Proficiency in English and Bahasa is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse customer behaviour and develop cohort analysis.
  • Prepare monthly loyalty performance and penetration reports.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve programme effectiveness.
  • Recommend improvements based on incremental behaviour.
  • Work closely with the Loyalty team on predictive segmentation.
  • Partner with project and marketing teams on retention strategies.

Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse customer behaviour, visit frequency, basket size, churn patterns and develop cohort analysis across engagement, retention and lifecycle stages.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly loyalty performance and penetration reports with key insights on points issuance, redemption, breakage, and tier distribution.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities to improve programme effectiveness and evaluate post‑campaign analysis to assess incrementality and ROI.
  • Recommend improvements based on ROI, incremental behaviour, and member response.
  • Work closely with the Loyalty team on RFM, behavioural, and predictive segmentation and support churn prediction modelling to identify at‑risk customers.
  • Partner with project and marketing teams to strengthen retention and lifecycle strategies.
Ideal Candidates & Qualifications
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a quantitative or analytics role in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, BI / data visualisation tools, and programming languages.
  • Fluent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Organised, able to tackle problems while managing multiple priorities independently.
  • Customer‑centric mindset with a passion for improving customer experience.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa.
  • Candidates with recent experience in customer data, analytics, or loyalty program experience will be highly considered.
