Job summary

CKY Recycle Plastic Sdn Bhd is seeking a Lorry Driver in Mantin, Negeri Sembilan to support warehousing, storage and distribution of recycled plastics. You will transport goods safely, complete pre-trip inspections and help load cargo.

This full-time role requires a valid GDL licence, at least 2 years driving experience, and strong reliability to meet delivery schedules. We offer health coverage, career progression and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Valid GDL driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in warehousing, distribution or logistics.
• Knowledge of traffic regulations, road safety and best practices for transporting goods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Physical fitness and ability to assist with loading and unloading cargo when required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctuality and reliability with a strong commitment to meeting delivery schedules.
• Familiarity with vehicles and basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience in the recycling or plastics industry would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate lorries safely and professionally, adhering to all traffic laws, regulations and company safety policies.
• Transport recycled plastic materials and related goods from warehouses to customers or designated delivery points.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the lorry is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption and any incidents or damages.
• Load and secure cargo appropriately, ensuring goods are protected during transit.
• Meet delivery schedules and deadlines whilst maintaining quality service to customers.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle and cargo area.
• Report any mechanical issues or vehicle maintenance needs promptly to management.
