Job summary

Tong Thye Hardware Sdn Bhd in Klang, Malaysia is seeking a responsible Lorry Driver to deliver goods safely and on time to customers and construction sites.

You will load, secure, and unload cargo, plan routes, and perform basic vehicle checks. This role requires a valid Class E driving licence and GDL, familiarity with Klang routes, and a dependable, safety-conscious work style.

Qualifications

• Valid Class E driving licence and Goods Driving Licence (GDL) are required.
• Previous lorry-driving or delivery experience is preferred.
• Familiar with Klang area routes and delivery lanes.
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading/unloading.
• Reliable, punctual, honest and safety-conscious.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely and punctually to customers and construction sites.
• Load and unload goods while ensuring they are handled properly to prevent damage.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and keep the lorry clean and in good condition.
• Follow traffic regulations and company safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customers’ signatures upon delivery.
• Report vehicle problems, delivery delays, or damaged goods to the supervisor.
• Perform other delivery-related duties assigned by management.
