A logistics company in Ipoh, Malaysia is seeking a delivery personnel responsible for transporting goods, ensuring vehicle maintenance, and verifying deliveries. The ideal candidate will assist with loading, unloading, and preparation of goods. They must maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in storage areas while ensuring good relationships with customers. This role entails reporting any delivery issues and conducting inventory checks, contributing to efficient operations.
1. Safely transporting goods to the assigned location.
2. Responsible to help loading and uploading products.
3. Responsible to get customer's signature on the D/O after the delivery of products with the correct quantity and quality.
4. Inspecting and keeping the vehicle tidy and in good condition.
5. Helping conduct general task and warehouse keeping when not performing logistic duties.
6. Maintaining a good relationship with customers.
7. Reporting any accidents or delays.
8. Following accident procedures.
9. Any other relevant job functions as and when required.
10. Responsible to verify all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received.
12. Prepare and packing goods for delivery.
13. Stack and storage in materials stores.
14. Timely inventory check.
15. Other day to day activities and housekeeping.
16. Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations.
17. Work closely with Purchasing to order and receive items and equipment.
18. Follow up on documentation of after-hours issues ensuring it is in accordance with established internal controls and procedures.
