Job summary

PROFICIENT QUALITY SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a delivery driver to handle daily deliveries, loading and unloading goods while ensuring safe arrival and condition. The role requires coordinating with the operations team, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, performing pre-journey inspections, and reporting any issues promptly.

Overtime and peak-period shifts may be required to support outstation routes. This hands-on position offers exposure to logistics operations and requires strict adherence

Qualifications

• Deliver food and goods in a timely and safe manner.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure accuracy of deliveries.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic checks prior to journeys.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily deliveries by collecting, loading, transporting and unloading goods while ensuring all items arrive safely and in good condition.
• Support workshop and warehouse operations, including receiving, arranging, picking and preparing goods for delivery.
• Maintain the lorry's cleanliness and condition, conduct basic checks and report issues to your supervisor.
• Support outstation deliveries and peak-period operations, including overtime and additional assignments.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure deliveries and goods-handling activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Adhering strictly to traffic laws, speed limits and safety regulations at all times.
• Conducting pre-journey vehicle inspections and reporting any mechanical issues or damage promptly.
