Job summary

Tropical Fruit Farm in Penang is seeking a dedicated lorry driver to support daily farm operations and passenger transport for visitors. You will carry out safe driving, assist with loading and unloading, and help move fruits, equipment, and staff between farm locations.

The role requires a valid goods driving licence and a courteous, safety-focused attitude. Applicants should be familiar with Penang roads, be reliable, and willing to work weekends/public holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid Goods Driving Licence (GDL) and appropriate driving licence.
• Previous lorry or commercial vehicle driving experience preferred.
• Familiar with Penang roads and surrounding areas.
• Safe, careful, and responsible when transporting customers.
• Good driving record.
• Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading.
• Friendly and polite when dealing with customers.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays when required.
• Experience working in a farm or tourism environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company lorry safely for daily farm operations.

• Assist with loading and unloading goods when required.
• Transport farm staff and materials between designated areas when needed.

• Carry out regular checks on the vehicle and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
• Keep the vehicle clean, safe, and in good working condition.
• Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures.
• Assist with general farm duties when required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
