Job description

Loading and unloading: Physically load and unload goods onto and from the lorry, both at the warehouse and at delivery locations.

Inventory management: Assist in picking, packing, and storing goods. This can also include helping with warehouse inventory and performing receiving and checking of incoming goods.

Delivery assistance: Accompany the driver to deliver goods to customers, helping to ensure each delivery is complete and properly acknowledged.

Goods handling: Handle all items carefully to prevent damage during loading, transit, and unloading.

Vehicle organization: Arrange goods properly inside the lorry to prevent damage during transit.

Record keeping: Compile delivery records and reports, and report any delivery-related problems to senior staff.

Lorry maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and security of the lorry.

Safety compliance: Adhere to all safety requirements at the workplace and customer sites.
