Job summary

A leading sportswear retail company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced logistics manager. Responsibilities include managing goods operations, coordinating stocktaking, and implementing safety measures in the warehouse. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in warehouse management in the footwear/apparel industry and possess strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

Job description

Brand: Xtep Malaysia (Sportswear Retail)

Perform daily departmental task arrangements, personnel coordination, progress tracking and supervision, and cooperate with leadership to complete various logistics management tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Guide and manage the practical operations of goods inbound (unloading, scanning, shelving) and outbound (order printing, picking, scanning, packing, handover).
  • Ensure standardization and efficiency in all procedures, and promptly address and adjust any anomalies in the process.
  • Improve warehouse space utilization for product storage.
  • Organize staff for daily and annual stocktaking to ensure consistency among system data, physical stock, and financial records.
  • Coordinate with the logistics head to align with upstream (product/retail) scheduling plans, warehouse operations, and goods delivery to stores; adjust logistics operation plans based on upstream and downstream needs.
  • Assign team tasks, provide standard training, monitor progress, motivate and guide team members, and evaluate results to improve work efficiency and teamwork.
  • Implement 6S visual management within the warehouse to eliminate safety hazards; ensure proper storage, maintenance, and servicing of warehouse equipment.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Secondary technical school / vocational high school / high school related to Logistics Management
  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse and logistics management experience, preferably in footwear/apparel industry warehouse management with minimum 1 year of team management experience.
  • Attention to detail and safety in operations & details oriented.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and process-building skills
