A leading aerospace services provider is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage inventory and logistics operations. You will ensure timely delivery and oversee a team in a fast-paced environment in Iskandar Puteri, Malaysia. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years' experience and a diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management. Strong multitasking and computer skills are essential for this role.

Core Responsibilities
  • Plan inventory to fulfil Customers’ needs and demand.
  • Process shipment paperwork and system transactions.
  • Work with our counterparts in USA for demand forecast and inventory pulls.
  • Arrange the daily activities for the store hand and maintain the store inventories.
  • Supervise stock counts.
  • Manage and coordinate day-to-day activities on inspection, logistics & shipping.
  • Perform receiving/shipping, record, packing goods and other physical shipment activities.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal & external customers or suppliers on shipment activities and handle full shipping documentation.
  • Perform warehouse management such as implementation of FIFO for raw materials and finished goods, ensure proper storage of inventory and maintain accurate records for proper tracking of inventory movement.
  • Monitor and ensure accurate and adequate inventory level on shipping and packaging materials to meet the organization’s needs by ordering products; and managing out-of-stock over-stocked products.
  • Perform cycle count and stock take.
  • Monitor store activities to ensure that goods are stored correctly and safely, and storage space is used efficiently.
  • Maintain monthly record of freight spent both incoming and outgoing shipment.
  • Assist and coordinate purchase requisition/order for all departments.
  • Provide supporting documents to Finance for accurate and timely customer billing.
  • Support and drive Barnes Enterprise System (BES) such as continually seek out new ways to upgrade/improve the working business model of the respective operations area and take steps to implement these improvements, 6S in store and shipping/receiving areas, perform RFQs for packaging materials and freight services, and select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution for cost saving opportunities.
  • Train new staff in operating procedures and standards when necessary.
  • Lead and manage a team of Inspectors and Logistics Assistants in day-to-day operations.
  • Meet organizational/ customer expectations through On‑Time and Quality delivery.
  • Drive safety culture at workplace.
  • Perform ad-hoc activities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience, of which 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing logistics environment.
  • Possess a valid forklift license.
  • Sound understanding of incoterms and familiar with LMW processes.
  • ERP experience, effectively utilize lifting devices, ability to interpret job travellers and work instructions, ability to verify log and procedures for accuracy.
  • Good computer skills such as Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Able to work independently with high initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail and able to multitask.
