Company Overview

Boon Siew Honda Sdn Bhd, a joint venture company between Honda Motor Co., Ltd. and Oriental Holdings Bhd, began operations in September 2008 with the dual aims to consolidate motorcycle production and sales in Malaysia and to achieve higher customer satisfaction and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate among sections to define and implement lifecycle processes that drive clarity on logistics section efficiency in healthy stock levels, delivery efficiency, cost efficiency, quality service and new model/module/project management.
  • Act with the teams to execute the section's target included quarterly tree plan project and yearly target achievement.
  • Determine the best course of action/countermeasure that a disaster or an unfortunate occurrence threatens normal operations in section/department.
  • Prioritize maximizing performance by enhancing section ability and minimizing losses and disruption of operations.
  • Liaison and coordinate among and across sections to keep lines of communication open and ensure meaningful collaboration. Provide support and direction as appropriate.
  • Compile daily, weekly, monthly reports and provide summary report. Perform analysis and necessary action/countermeasure.
  • Organize section administrative tasks including maintaining records.
  • Lead a small team (option) or coach junior to seek continuous improvement of work efficiency in the section.
  • Follow all workplace discipline and compliance to BSH / government related rules and regulations.
  • Report to the superior if there are any abnormal encounters/found.
  • Undertake and perform any project, task and duties that are assigned by superior after reviewing the needs of organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistic Management, Business Administration, or any discipline of studies.
  • 6-10 years of related working experience.
  • Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Melayu.
  • Experience in Supply Chain/ Logistics operations management.
  • Knowledge of Logistics.
  • Knowledge of import and export law and regulations.
