A logistics company in Selangor is seeking a Delivery Planner to manage daily and weekly delivery schedules, coordinate with various teams, and ensure accuracy in delivery documentation. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in logistics, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in planning tools like Microsoft Excel. This role requires effective teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, delivery planning, or transport scheduling.
  • Familiarity with different truck types and their load capacities.
  • Proven record of planning efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and maintain daily and weekly delivery schedules based on Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Coordinate with production, sales, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Generate and verify Delivery Orders (DOs) and ensure all documents are accurate.
  • Prepare and distribute daily delivery planning reports.
  • Maintain documentation related to Poison Licence compliance.
  • Report delivery issues and customer feedback for resolution.
  • Adjust delivery schedules based on demand or production changes.
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.

Plan and maintain daily and weekly delivery schedules based on Purchase Orders (POs) and inventory levels.

Coordinate with production, sales, customers, and drivers to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.

Generate and verify Delivery Orders (DOs) and ensure all delivery documents are accurate and complete.

Prepare and distribute daily delivery planning reports.

Maintain proper internal and external documentation related to Poison Licence compliance and delivery records.

Ensure timely reporting of delivery issues and customer feedback to relevant departments for follow-up and resolution.

Adjust delivery schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand or production.

Identify bottlenecks, recommend improvements, and help streamline processes to improve overall efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, delivery planning, or transport scheduling.
  • Familiarity with different truck types (cargo, tanker, etc.) and their load capacities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Proven record of problem-solving and planning efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other planning tools.
  • Able to work well in a team, uphold integrity, and communicate effectively across all levels, from drivers to management personnel.
