Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8–10 years in warehouse/store management or waste management roles within industrial plants; at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems (e.g., ERP or CMMS) and warehouse operations.
- Expertise in sustainable waste management practices aligned with environmental regulations.
- Leadership skills with experience managing cross‑functional teams.
- Problem‑solving abilities for addressing complex issues related to inventory discrepancies or waste handling challenges.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Analytical skills for monitoring performance metrics and identifying improvement opportunities in warehouse/store operations or waste reduction initiatives.
- Based at Sedili ISPOC site with responsibilities spanning refinery, KCP, power plant, POM facilities.
- Regular site inspections to monitor progress in warehouse/store operations or waste handling activities across all facilities.
- May require occasional travel to supplier locations or training centers for procurement or skill development purposes.
- Availability for emergency response or on‑call duties as needed.
Responsibilities
Warehouse and Store Management
- Oversee daily operations of warehouse and store facilities across ISPOC.
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Ensure timely procurement, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, spare parts, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory using computerized systems (e.g., ERP or CMMS).
- Optimize storage layouts for efficient space utilization and easy access to items.
Waste Management
- Develop and implement waste management policies aligned with sustainability goals.
- Oversee the collection, segregation, recycling, and disposal of waste materials from all facilities (Refinery, KCP, Power Plant, POM).
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations for waste handling and disposal.
- Collaborate with external vendors for recycling or safe disposal of hazardous waste.
Health, safety and Environmental Compliance
- Ensure warehouse operations and waste management activities comply with safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments at warehouse/store facilities.
- Promote a culture of safety within the warehouse/store team.
Budgeting and Cost Control
- Prepare and manage the warehouse/store/waste management budget.
- Monitor costs associated with inventory procurement, storage operations, and waste disposal.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality or compliance.
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain detailed records of inventory levels, stock movements, and waste management activities.
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse/store performance metrics and waste reduction initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and company policies.
Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate current practices in warehouse operations and waste management to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement innovative technologies or systems to enhance efficiency (e.g., automated inventory tracking).
- Promote sustainable practices to reduce waste generation across all facilities.
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage the warehouse/store/waste management team to ensure high operational performance.
- Train team members on best practices in inventory control and sustainable waste management.
- Foster a collaborative work environment focused on continuous improvement.
