Job summary

A logistics company located in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee all logistics functions including planning, scheduling, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics management. Strong familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and Halal standards is preferred. This role requires excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office.

Job description

Oversee and manage all logistics functions, including planning, scheduling, manpower allocation, and inventory control.

Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to support business operations and customer requirements.

Ensure smooth operation and effective communication across departments to achieve operational excellence.

Lead and supervise the logistics team to ensure high performance, compliance, and productivity.

Monitor and evaluate logistics performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and Halal standards in all logistics activities.

Manage third-party logistics providers, transportation, and warehouse operations effectively.

Prepare logistics reports, analyze performance data, and support management decision-making.

Job Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics management, planning, or control.

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Strong experience in logistics planning, manpower scheduling, and operational control.

Background from Sannis-relevant industries or similar logistics environments is acceptable.

Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and Halal standards is an advantage.

Possession of a GDL License is an added advantage.

Excellent leadership, planning, and organizational skills.

Strong problem-solving and communication abilities with cross-functional teams.

Proficient in logistics software, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems.
