Job Summary

An agile and effective Logistics Executive to strengthen our logistics operations as we grow to serve more customers globally. The ideal candidate is resourceful and skilled at optimizing delivery lead time and logistics cost without compromising on service quality, and meticulous in using Excel to enhance planning and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

  • Undertake all logistic related activities including export & import shipment such as quotation, handling shipment, custom clearance, packaging, shipping documents, follow up, etc.
  • Work with transportation service providers, freight forwarders, courier company, customs agencies and other stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Undertake shipping/freight cost management such as check, analyse & verification on quotation, billing invoice from shipping/ forwarder/courier company and corresponding to all relevant shipping costs & expenses.
  • Follow-up with shipping/ forwarder /courier company in the event of damaged shipment and submission of documentations & related procedures to put up claim when necessary.
  • Undertake and handle logistics activities & documentations: reports, application submission and related matter, generate, check and maintain monthly reports as required.
  • Work with inter-departments and external parties to notify regulatory, resolve issues and any logistic related matter.
  • Undertake all documentation & filling as required and administrative task from time to time.
  • To responsible for any ad-hoc assigned task/project.

People Requirements

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience of logistics in manufacturing/automation industries will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge in Logistics Management/Supply Chain Management AND degree/diploma in electrical/material engineering OR supply chain management will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Willing to work at Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam.
