Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparation of shipping documents and ensuring accurate declaration submission of shipping documents/reports.
• Responsible for planning, monitoring, expediting shipment and ensuring timely delivery, coordinating with inter-department, production, transporter, and forwarders on shipment arrangement.
• To handle, verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Ensure compliance with all legal aspects as per custom requirements.
• Ensure custom/delivery/shipment issues are solved immediately.
• Update and maintain relevant data in the system and proper filing of all shipping documents.
• Liaise with Customs/MIDA/MITI on Regulatory/Exemption/Duties and shipment clearance issues (import & export).
• Selection of freight agents/forwarders/transporters and ensure cost-effective operations at all times.
• Any other duties/ad hoc duties as assigned by the superiors from time to time as deemed necessary or assigned by Management.
• To familiarize with the ERP system.

Job Requirements

• Qualification Required: Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
• Industrial Background Preferred: At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Technical Knowledge Required: ERP, MS Office.
• Preferably Executives specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Full-Time 1 position is available.
