Job summary

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible and lead logistic operations effectively and efficiently (warehouse / shipping / forwarding / documentation, Customs clearance / etc ).
• Manage and liaise with service providers (i.e. forwarders. carriers and shipping agents), as well as coordinate with government agencies (i.e. Customs, KKM and MITI), to ensure smooth documents submission and application.
• Ensure full compliance of local and foreign agencies’ regulatory requirements, in obtaining approval of required permits/certificates for import/export shipments.
• Manage and monitor incoming and outgoing shipment schedules planning, ensuring shipment process and preparation of documentation are executed accurately and smoothly.
• Administer and organize weekly team meeting, review departmental SOPs regularly, establish proper documents filing system, and work with cross-functional team proactively on import/export issues, achieving fulfilment logistics.

Qualifications

• Recognized Diploma/Degree holder in any discipline, and/or with Logistics/Supply Chain Management experience or related field is a plus.
• At least 2 Year(s) of relevant experience in logistics/supply chain management, familiar with import/export (Sea/Air) Customs clearance procedures and shipping documentation process.
• Computer literate with good Microsoft Office skills.
• Language required – English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
