Job summary

Lam Research in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Analyst I to support day-to-day logistics operations and drive improvements in delivery performance, documentation accuracy, and overall efficiency.

You will analyze KPIs, ensure compliance with ISO standards, develop SOPs, and collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, warehouse, finance and global teams. Travel to warehouses for audits and reviews may be required.

Qualifications

• Analytical capability and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, ERP reporting tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in logistics, supply chain, business.
• 1-2 years relevant experience in logistics or supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Logistics Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze KPIs including OTD, cost, cycle times, and exceptions.
• Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports and support deep-dive investigations.
• Use Excel, Power BI, or ERP reporting tools to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Compliance & Documentation Control: Ensure adherence to ISO standards (RBA, audits, SOP adherence) and document control.
• Support internal/external audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Process & Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps and propose improvements in logistics workflows, document control, and system efficiency.
• Develop or update SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, warehouse, finance, and global logistics teams.
• Communicate status, risks, and recommended actions to stakeholders.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

The impact you’ll make

The Logistics Analyst II supports day‑to‑day logistics operations while driving improvements in delivery performance, documentation accuracy, and operational efficiency.

This role provides analytical insight, coordinates cross‑functional communication, and ensures compliance with global and local logistics standards.

What you’ll do

Who we’re looking for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or equivalent.
• 1-2 years relevant experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical capability and proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Power Point, ERP system /SAP or reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Preferred qualifications

• Effective written and communication skills in English for coordination with global teams
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma or process improvement initiatives.
• This role requires occasional travel to warehouses to support audits, process reviews and improvement activities
