Job Description
- Manage end-to-end export and import operations from the plant, ensuring all shipments meet EOR requirements, customs regulations, and internal compliance standards.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs, and 3PL partners to ensure smooth shipment flow, optimal container utilisation, and on-time delivery.
- Oversee day-to-day logistics activities including stock transfers, container loading, and documentation accuracy within JDE.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of export documents, invoices, and declarations while maintaining compliance with Bank Negara and audit requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Planning, Production, Laboratory, and Warehouse teams to align shipment schedules and resolve any operational or quality-related issues.
- Monitor service providers' performance and adherence to HSSE, quality, and cost-efficiency standards to support seamless export and import operations.
The Successful Applicant
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably with export-import exposure.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Able to lead 3PL partners and resolve operational challenges effectively.
- Capable of aligning stakeholders to achieve operational goals.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and compliant export operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and government agencies.
