Logistic Executive / Logistic Assistant Manager
Key Responsibilities ( Logistic Assistant Manager )
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and products to project sites, factories, and customers.
- Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, and vendors to optimize cost and delivery schedules.
- Monitor logistics KPIs and prepare regular operational reports.
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure accurate inventory records and conduct periodic stock counts.
- Implement proper storage, handling, and safety practices to prevent loss or damage.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency.
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure all logistics documentation (DO, PO, invoices, delivery notes, customs documents) is accurate and properly maintained.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Assist in audit preparation related to logistics and inventory.
Team Supervision & Coordination
- Supervise and guide logistics officers, warehouse staff, and drivers.
- Assist in manpower planning, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Provide training and coaching to ensure team competency and adherence to SOPs.
Cost Control & Process Improvement
- Monitor logistics and transportation costs to ensure operations remain within budget.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to reduce cost and lead time.
- Support the implementation of new logistics systems, tools, or procedures.
Coordination with Internal & External Parties
- Work closely with procurement, production, project, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and service providers to resolve delivery or operational issues.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing is an advantage.
- Prior supervisory or team-leading experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, and inventory management.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and logistics/ERP systems.

- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years working experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.
- Good knowledge of logistics processes, import/export procedures, and customs clearance.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with vendors and service providers.
- Proficient in MS Office and logistics software (ERP system is an added advantage).
- Detail-oriented, able to work independently, and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and monitor the movement of goods, materials, and shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, freight forwarders, and internal teams regarding shipment schedules, documentation, and delivery arrangements.
- Prepare, check, and manage shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, delivery orders, customs forms, and permits.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and support warehouse team in stock management.
- Handle and resolve logistics issues, delays, or discrepancies with shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, transportation costs, and logistics reports for management review.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
