You will localize, review, and refine content across platforms, ensuring tone, nuance, and branding remain consistent while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven localization/translation experience in social media, e-commerce, or user-generated content domains.
• Native or near-native English with strong writing and editing skills.
• Ability to interpret source content and convey meaning across languages and contexts.
• Good cross-cultural communication and localization strategy skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering linguistically precise and contextually appropriate content across various platforms.

• Perform accurate localization of content into English while preserving the original meaning, tone, and intent.
• Ensure all localized content is culturally appropriate, contextually relevant, and aligned with Western audience expectations.
• Adapt informal language, idiomatic expressions, and emerging trends into equivalent, natural English expressions.
• Conduct thorough reviews and quality checks to maintain high standards of linguistic accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
• Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance (QA) and review teams to identify and resolve linguistic and contextual discrepancies.
• Manage assigned tasks efficiently, ensuring timely delivery in accordance with project deadlines.
• Adhere strictly to project-specific guidelines, terminology databases, glossaries, and style guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Demonstrated experience in localization, translation, or content adaptation, preferably within social media, e-commerce, or user-generated content domains.
• Native or near-native proficiency in English, with excellent writing and editing skills.
• Strong ability to interpret source content and accurately convey meaning across languages and contexts.
• Solid understanding of cross-cultural communication and localization strategies for English-speaking Western markets.
• Proven ability to handle idiomatic expressions and context-specific nuances with precision.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to linguistic quality.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
