Job summary

Qualifications

• Should have a Class E driving license with strong defensive driving skills and at least 3 years as a commercial vehicle driver.
• Service oriented with good communication.
• Ability to assess road conditions and provide timely feedback to control room.

Responsibilities

• Follow Distribution Manual procedures.
• Safeguard company and customers’ property and report losses or defects.
• Attend driver training and comply with EH&S requirements.
• Comply with health and safety laws governing hazardous substance transport and protect operator’s license.
• Assist with delivery route planning based on orders.
• Provide holiday and sickness coverage at depots.
• Perform simple repairs on customer installations as requested.
• Enter delivery information into PDT/MOBY or computer systems.
• Complete paperwork professionally (trip reports, vehicle inspections).
• Carry out other reasonable tasks as required.
