Job summary

A healthcare facility in Subang Jaya is seeking a patient liaison to assist individuals in the lobby, ensuring their comfort and guiding them to the appropriate specialists. The candidate should ideally be a Registered Nurse or hold a diploma in Healthcare services, possess strong customer service and communication skills, and preferably be multilingual to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients. This position plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for patients.

Assists patients in the lobby to resolve any inquiry they may have and ensure patients are comfortable while waiting at the lobby.

First contact with Subang Jaya Medical Centre for many patients and therefore serves an important role to create a good first impression and pleasant experience.

First level of screening of patient to ensure and guide patient to the correct specialist or direct patient to ER for urgent cases.

Provide focused, personalized, and compassionate attention and care to patients and families of patients visiting SJMC.

Work closely with the Reception / IPC/ OPD to ensure that doctor appointments are fairly and equitably distributed by allocating walk-in patients to doctors based on the On‑call roster.

Job Requirements
  • Registered Nurse or Diploma in Healthcare services preferred or other related fields.
  • Minimum 1-3 years working experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills. Preferably to be multilingual Malay/ English/ Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
  • Computer literate.
  • Working experience in customer service, healthcare, hospitality industry.
