A leading financial institution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a candidate to manage fixed deposit placements and renewals for Non-Retail clients. The role involves ensuring compliance, handling servicing issues, and enhancing customer experience through effective communication and collaboration. Qualifications

  • Experience in managing fixed deposit placements and renewals.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Treasury operations and documentation processes.

  • Manage fixed deposit placements and renewals for Non-Retail clients.
  • Handle servicing and operations issues arising from customers.
  • Ensure pricing accuracy and compliance with policies.
Job description
  • To manage the fixed deposit placements (including renewals/rollovers) of Non-Retail clients.
  • To handle servicing and operations issues arising from customers in the portfolio.
  • Other related responsibilities / task as may be assigned by management from time to time

Description

  • liaise with relationship managers on proposed pricings for fixed deposits for placements and/or rollovers
  • ensure accuracy in pricing mechanism i.e. checking with Treasury to confirm correct computation of COF and CFF to adhere to the approved interest margin or variation as may be approved by the appropriate approving authority on a case-by-case basis
  • liaise with customers to ensure all necessary documentation are in place and order to facilitate the necessary trades
  • cross-sell appropriate ideas including but not limited to CASA, FD, foreign exchange, structured deposits etc
  • refer interested clients to Treasury, Cash Management, or any other appropriate business units or product partners, for further exploration/execution of appropriate ideas
  • champion a strong service culture in enhancing customer experience
  • work with various stakeholders to complete the assigned tasks
  • to ensure all activities are done in accordance to policies and procedures
